Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
SEO, in itself, can be a full time devotion of your efforts. So, you need to know which tasks are the most effective to make the most impact on your site.
The goal of SEO is to organically (the natural relevance of your site and content to keywords and topics) align your web site with what search engines give bonus points for when they crawl your site.
I create and develop SEO strategies that improve the organic ranking of your site by:
- breaking up your site into focused sections and pages to improve the relevancy of the topics being discussed and making it easier for your visitors to zero in on the information they are looking for
- altering the site code so that it is easier for crawlers to find your information and to understand the what you are about
- building content (above and beyond the basic about, services, and contact pages) so you can show your expertise and provide another opportunity for the search engines to bring up your site during relevant searches
- find opportunities to cross link your site with other related sites that search engines see as being credible, as well as pursuing opportunities to team up with other sites that can benefit both of your visitors
Take heed to SEO companies that call or e-mail you saying they can improve your results on the web. Many of these companies are outsourced from overseas, so they don’t really know the nature of your clients and the business climate you operate in. Others are borderline frauds that offer products and listing services with almost no improvement on your search engine rank.
To this I say that you should only trust people that you can meet face-to-face and can hold accountable for the quality of their work.
I stand behind my work and I will take the time to speak with you face-to-face to understand your situation and goals, evaluate your web presence and execute a plan that will improve your search rankings and achieve your goals.
